Celeb Cruises has lower metal on the third ship in its new Edge class, the Celeb Past, in a ceremony on the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. The vessel is scheduled to debut in fall 2021, following the launch of the second Edge-class ship, the Celeb Apex, in April 2020.

Executives from each Celeb Cruises and Chantiers de l’Atlantique attended the steel-cutting ceremony, which marks the official begin of development on the brand new vessel. The primary ship within the Edge class, the Celeb Edge, launched a variety of signature options for the ship kind, together with the magic carpet, a platform cantilevered off the facet of the ship that strikes up and down over the course of the day, remodeling into numerous venues together with a launch platform and an al fresco restaurant.
